What’s a day like at us?

8:00-9:00am	A few children arrive early. Setting up projects for the day, free exploration time for children
9:00-9:30 am	Most children arrive between 9 to 9.30. Free play, welcome/informal talk with parents
9:30am	Planned activities- musical activities, story, nursery rhyme time, arts and crafts, sharing thoughts, children-led activities
10:15am	Snack time, snack is prepared with the children. Preparing for outdoor time. (in the summer months outdoor time may start earlier)
Until 11:50am	Outdoor time Children spend a lot of time with outside play, our garden is continuously set up with a variety of activities and things to explore. Also, children are free to use sports equipment and take advantage of the built-in castle and slides system. In bad weather children have access to our indoor gym with different modules and sports equipment.
11:50-12:10am	Tidy up, transitioning to lunch time
12.10- 12:40pm	1. Lunch for children who are staying in the lunchroom   2. Home time (until 12.45) for morning session toddlers-child-led activities/ circle time activities
12:45-1:00pm	Finishing lunch, washing hands, children are led to their naptime area.  Naptime story-time in bed, then soft music, lights dimmed
1:00-3:00pm	Naptime (quiet corner for early risers) (Lunchtime and preparation time for teachers – rotational system. Classdojo app notifications sent to parents.
3:30pm	Snack time (snacks consist of variety of finger foods, fresh fruits and veggies, dips, crackers, light sandwiches or home-made smoothies)
3:40-5:30pm	Indoor-outdoor free play, small group activities or continued project work, music and movement    In the classrooms children can choose from different play set-up offerings: to manipulate objects and materials, to discover how things work, to create and to play with their friends. Teachers are all actively involved in a non-intrusive manner.
